Is this splitter ribbon or are the 2 fibers completely loose? We have purchased 1x2 splitters before and they did not say ribbon but they came as ribbon an the 2x side.

#11519 is a bare fiber, it has no connectors. And it’s ribbon, you need to split it before using it. And you can see it’s ribbon on the specification page on our website.

Do you know what the limit in dBm is for the PLC I check the datasheet for this and it does not state the limit in dBm for the input and output ports of this splitter.

The PLC works without dBm, as it's a passive product. But, it‘s usually supported to use under 500mW.

What are the core/clad/polymer diameters for your output fiber? (What model of fiber are you using?)

The fiber diameter is 250μm, the fiber type is Ribbon Fiber. The fiber grade is single mode G.657A1.

I know that ~5 nanoseconds of propagation delay per meter of singlemode fiber is expected. Since both FBT and PLC splitters are passive, is there a latency difference between them?

No, both FBT and PLC have no delay issues.

Does this splitter can be used in OM1 application?

No, it doesn't. Our PLC splitters only support singlemode application, and the fiber type is G657A1, if you want multimode splitters, please refer to FBT Coupler Splitter #65801
