First, CWDM and DWDM have different wavebands, and the corresponding optical transmission schemes are different. Second, DWDM can be used with amplifiers, but CWDM modules cannot.

If you have a MUX, you can choose according to the channel range of the MUX, If there is no MUX and only the module is directly connected, then any wavelength can be choosed. They will all work well.

The main difference is the usable ambient temperature. If in a harsh environment, the industrial grade is recommend.
