"Modular Series Switches" can be used with some line cards to realize flexible port combination. The "Fixed Series Switches" and "Open Networking Switches" are mainly system differences. "Fixed Series Switches" is the fixed FSOS system installed. "Open Networking Switches" provide the self-developed extensible open networking operating system FSOS, which can perfectly run on the high-quality white box networking switches. And it can be replaced with other supported third-party Network Operating Systems (NOSs) according to your needs.

Hi, thanks for your question. NC8200-4TD is highlighted by its flexible card insertion. It is a 2U switch with 4 slots, which supports three types of cards: NC8200-8C, NC8200-16Q, NC8200-24BC. NC8200-4TD can offer a maximum of 128x 10G/25G, 64x 40G or 32x 100G full line rate ports.

I have had the same doubt before, and I found on their website that 4 line cards can be used in one NC8200-4TD, and two NC8200-4TD can be stacked. Therefore, a total of 8 line cards can be used together.

Yes, the NC8200-4TD supports inserting 1 x NC8200-24BC and 3 x NC8200-8C.

The NC8200-4TD switch supports the 4x 16xQSPF line card NC8200-16Q, but the 40G ports do not support splitting into 4x10G. For switches with a significant number of 40G ports and support for splitting, we recommend the S8050-20Q4C. All ports on this switch can be split into 4x10G. NAT functionality is typically found in exit devices like routers and firewalls. This switch does not support NAT.
