No, we can't. The longest 25G Passive DAC cables are 5m. Because the Passive DAC does not contain electronics for signal conditioning, it will affect the data transmission if the cable length is longer than 5m. For the long distance passive cables, you can choose the 25G AOC series.

25G SFP28 DACs are best suited for short-reach connections within the same rack or between adjacent racks. They offer lower cost, lower power consumption, and true plug-and-play deployment. When the link distance is within the supported range of the DAC (typically ≤5 m) and there is no high requirement for cabling flexibility, a DAC is a more economical and efficient choice. For longer distances, cross-row cabling, or applications requiring higher cable flexibility, optical transceivers with fiber are the preferred solution.

Yes, this cable has no CDR function and supports for backward compatibility, but you need to make sure the switch is compatible with the module.

No, it can’t be used in the stack port of your device. FS DAC & AOC can only be used in the business port of the switch to achieve virtual stacking, but can not be used in the stack port to achieve physical stacking. The stacking through the stack port of device belongs to physical stacking which needs a specific stacking cable, and it is under development for now.
