Customized MTP®-12 PRO Jumper, 8-144F, OM3, 0.35dB

MTP® jumpers are high-density pre-terminated optical cabling that simplify installation and improve performance, designed to be a cost-effective alternative to time-consuming field termination. MTP® jumpers, allow for the seamless migration to higher data rates in the data center when used in conjunction with our trunk cables. They are used to connect MTP® adapter panels, fiber cassettes, and electronics, typically within a cabinet and row.
MTP® PRO design is focused on simplicity and reliability, ensuring a quick and effective method for polarity and pin configuration without the need to remove the housing or handle loose pins. One simple insertion into a specially designed MTP® PRO tool reverses the keying configuration by retracting the exposed key while extracting a hidden key on the opposite side of the connector.

Features
Custom Fiber Count
Fiber cable is available in various fiber counts with selection depending on the application and the number of connections.
Using the outer 4 fibers (1-4 and 8-12) of the MTP®-12 PRO connector with 4 fibers used to transmit and 4 fibers used to receive for QSFP application.
Used for trunk and backbone applications. It is also ideal for 8-fiber parallel applications.
The cable with braided tubing combines MTP®-8/12 PRO cable assemblies for high-density backbone applications.
Custom Cable Jacket

A cable jacket is a shield that protects and ensures the longevity and reliability of the cable within. The differences in cable jacket types determine their suitability for different scenarios.

Custom Connector
MTP® connectors utilize two alignment pins on one connector and two holes on the opposite connector. Female connectors can be identified by the two cable pins on the end of the connector.
The female (without pins) connector can be directly connected to transceivers or other male connectors.
The male (with pins) connector is combined with the female connector for additional distance by using adapters.
Custom Polarity

Polarity refers to the directional relationship or corresponding between the transmit (Tx) and receive (Rx) ends of a fiber connection, ensuring the transmitting and receiving ends are properly interconnected during use. Click the Technical White Paper for more information.

Custom Pulling Eye
The pulling eye protects fiber trunk connectors during cable installation and removal, particularly in tight spaces or hard-to-reach spaces, by fully covering the breakout length and transferring pulling force from the assembly to the sleeve.
Without pulling eye is suited for short cables in common fiber cabling.
With pulling eye could enhance the efficiency and reliability in long distance installations.
Meet Your Polarity Reversal Needs
Only 4 steps to switch the polarity from type A to type B and vice versa in seconds.
Align key on the MTP® PRO Connector with "KEY UP" on the Polarity Change Port.
Insert the MTP® PRO Connector in the Polarity Change Port until audible "CLICK".
Remove the MTP® PRO Connector from the Polarity Change Port.
Polarity Changed from Black Key exposed to off White Key exposed.
Meet Your Pin Removal Needs
Only 4 steps to switch the connector from male to female by pin removal in seconds.
Insert pinned MTP PRO Connector in the Pin Change Port until audible "CLICK".
Align and insert Pin Exchanger on the opposite end of the Pin Change Port.
Slide the Gripper onto the Pin Exchanger. Compress the black handles.
Compress the Green Gripper handles until they touch and pull the Pin Exchanger out.
Meet Your Pin Insertion Needs
Only 4 steps to switch the connector from female to male by pin insertionl in seconds.
Insert unpinned MTP PRO Connector in the Pin Change Port until audible "CLICK".
Align the Pin Exchanger with pins attached on the opposite end of the Pin Change Port.
Insert Pin Exchanger into the opposite end of the Pin Change Port until audible "CLICK".
Pull out the Pin Exchanger and verify the insertion of the pins onto the MTP PRO Connector.
