Worked out of the box like a charm with my 25G Intel XXV710 cards and my Mikrotik CRS510 switch. No reprogramming required. Just make sure to disable auto-negotiation on the 100G port and force all four interfaces to 10G or 25G. Be careful not to twist the thin wires as well.
This product is much cheaper than using fiber patch cables.

despite initial concerns with a breakout cable not performing as needed we implemented these into production and have not looked back, great way to take a 100GB port and make 4 x 25GB quickly.
