Switched PDU can locally monitor load level and avoid potential overloads with an LCD hot swapping display, as well as remotely control individual outlets for the rebooting of locked equipment to avoid costly service calls, custom power-on/power-off sequences, and load-shedding of non-essential loads during blackouts to extend battery backup runtime for critical equipment. Optional T/H sensor to set notification forms to prevent business disruption.
The PDU network interface connects to an Ethernet jack. Remote users can switch each of the PDU outlets on or off via SNMP and the Web. Remote outlet level control allows on/off power cycling to remotely restart equipment and limits unauthorized use of individual outlets to reduce downtime.
1 IP is required to access up to 32 PDUs in a single cascade group. Outlet power sequencing and grouping allow the user to specify the device power-on or power-down sequence to avoid overloading the circuit due to inrush current or load reduction to drive green data center initiatives to save energy and money.
The 0U rack PDU mounts vertically using the included toolless mounting buttons or the included brackets. Recommended for data centers, server rooms, and network closets, this 0U vertical PDU provides advanced network control and remote power monitoring.
