The time of calendar set is not saved in the configuration file so it will not continue counting after the device is turned off. It is recommended to use the ntp service to synchronize the system time, so that after the switch restarts, you only need to set the next restart time, and don‘t need to set the system time again. I'm currently evaluating your products for our own infrastructure. I think that your S3900-24T4S could be a good solution for our needs. I need 8 switch to popolate our racks and providing access connectivity to our servers. The main issue is that I also need 2 core switch for connecting the access layer each other and uplink to the network perimeter. I've not found in your catalog a switch model that couldd be used for this scope.We have in plan to upgrade the network with more advanced features in the next future so, for now, I'm investigating the market for an affordable solution. I'm evaluating ubiquity products becaue this vendor has a 12 SFP+ ports available in its catalogue. By P***h on 06/09/2020
