16 Channels DWDM Mux Demux, 100GHz C21-C36, with Monitor, Expansion and 1310nm Port, 4.4dB Typical IL, LC/UPC, Dual Fiber, FMU 1U Rack Mount

The 16CH Mux Demux, based on TFF technology, is a passive DWDM device featuring high density, low loss, and long-haul transmission suitability. It is integrated with a monitor port and an expansion port. The 1% monitor port allows easy troubleshooting without downtime and the expansion port can be used to add additional channels, providing a cost-effective and easily expandable solution. In addition, this unit can act as either a multiplexer or de-multiplexer (Mux/Demux). It combines 16-channel of DWDM wavelengths into a composite signal and separates the combined DWDM signal into 16-channel individual wavelengths over a pair of single-mode optical fiber. In accordance with the ITU-T G.694.2, it maximizes the capacity of the C-band range.

It supports 1G/10G/25G Ethernet, SDH/SONET, 16/8/4/2/1G Fiber Channel, FTTx and CATV. When deployed with FS DWDM optical transceivers, OEO, EDFA and OADM modules, the Mux Demux seamlessly enables flexible network architectures ranging from simple point-to-point connections to amplified ring configurations.

Features
Diversified Ports for 16 Channels DWDM Mux Demux

The C21-C36 channel port for ITU grid DWDM traffic. Line port for multiplexed signal transmission. 1310nm port for 10G/40G/100G/400G legacy traffic, EXP port for service expansion.

Signal Multiplexing and Demultiplexing in Fiber Optic Communications

The DWDM Mux Demux integrates both multiplexing (Mux) and demultiplexing (Demux) functions. The Mux combines optical signals of different wavelengths at the transmitting end and couples them into a single fiber for transmission. The Demux separates the multi-wavelength signals at the receiving end, essentially performing the reverse process of the Mux.

Mix of Services Multiplexing at Any Rate
Flexible mix of 1G/10G/25G Ethernet, SDH/SONET, 16/8/4/2/1G FC, FTTx and CATV, it's transparent to any rate, any service multiplexing and upgrade.

Expansion without Service Interruption

The EXP port supports future upgrades by adding more DWDM wavelengths to increase network capacity without disruption. The 1310nm port can accommodate legacy traffic or serves as a dedicated channel for compatibility with existing infrastructure.

Data Center Interconnect for DWDM Network

Mux Demux interconnect seamlessly with transponder, muxponder, and third-party WDM products, to form cost-effective high-capacity DWDM tailored solutions.
