This cable is compliant with IEEE P802.3by Ethernet standard and SFP28 MSA Compliant. Each SFP28 connector comprises an EEPROM providing product information which can be read by the host system. With these features, this easy to install, high speed, cost-effective direct attach copper twinax Cable is suitable for short-distance connectivity within a rack or between adjacent racks in data centers.

These Arista-coded DACs are of incredible value. I'm using 2 of these to form an aggregated link between two Arista switches. They cost much less than using SFP28 and LC-LC patch cables and fill my need for cost-efficient 25G links between two switches in adjacent links. Just plug in and they work fine. I have nothing to worry about. No reason not to pick this up if you need it.
