The cross bars lined up with the left and right holes on my rack. The screws that came with the bars are a little too big for my rack. I used my existing screws instead. Other than that, the bars are very sturdy after being mounted. I grabbed the bar and shook it a little just to test its strength. It was pretty rigid. It holds up my 24 cables but it could easily hold up 48.
