This OADM module is a passive optical multiplexer /demultiplexer designed to add and drop CWDM channels into an existing backbone ring. The module multiplexes and demultiplexes one CWDM wavelength from a two-fiber ring, going in bi-directions into a network.

This OADM module plugs into a 2-slot 1U 19" rack mount chassis for simple installation and modularity.

CWDM/DWDM hybrid is a powerful and cost-effective solution to meet network capacity needs. C27-C42 of DWDM MUX can be connected to the 1550nm port of CWDM MUX, thus existing passive CWDM system can be upgraded without the need to substitute installed components.

Dual Fiber Bi-directional Transmission

One fiber only transmits the optical signal in one direction, and the reverse optical signal is transmitted by another fiber. The same wavelength can be reused in two directions.

West and East Module

Dual-side transmission. It drops an individual channel from the network fiber, and it also provides the ability to add that same channel onto the network fiber.

    A:

    Any wavelength, any connector, any type of housing (FMU/FUD/1U rack/ABS module/OADM components) and special ports, like 1310nm/1550nm/Monitor port ( 1% ratio as default, 2%, 3%, 5%, etc, available on request) can be customized. What's more, FS OADM can be customized to industrial temperature -40~85℃ to meet the requirement of outdoor applications. By FS.COM on August 01, 2017
