4 Channels CWDM Mux Demux, 1270-1330nm, 1.0dB Typical IL, LC/UPC, Dual Fiber, FMU Plug-in Module

The 4CH Mux Demux, based on Free Space technology, is a passive CWDM device featuring high density, low loss, and short-haul transmission suitability. This unit can be used as either a multiplexer or de-multiplexer (Mux/Demux). It combines 4-channel of CWDM wavelengths into a composite signal and separates the combined CWDM signal into 4-channel individual wavelengths over a pair of single-mode optical fiber. In accordance with the ITU-T G.694.2, it maximizes the capacity of the C-band range. Designed for maximum configuration flexibility, the CWDM Mux Demux can plug directly into the FMU chassis, each module occupying one slot.

It supports 1G/10G/25G Ethernet, SDH/SONET, 16/8/4/2/1G Fiber Channel, FTTx and CATV. When deployed with FS CWDM optical transceivers, OEO and OADM modules, it seamlessly enables flexible network architectures ranging from simple point-to-point connections to amplified ring configurations.

Diversified Ports for 4 Channels CWDM Mux Demux

The 1270nm-1330nm channel port for ITU CWDM optical traffic, Line port for multiplexed signals transmission.

Signal Multiplexing and Demultiplexing in Fiber Optic Communications

The CWDM Mux Demux integrates both multiplexing (Mux) and demultiplexing (Demux) functions. The Mux combines optical signals of different wavelengths at the transmitting end and couples them into a single fiber for transmission. The Demux separates the multi-wavelength signals at the receiving end, essentially performing the reverse process of the Mux.

Mix of Services Multiplexing at Any Rate
Flexible mix of 1G/10G/25G Ethernet, SDH/SONET, 16/8/4/2/1G FC, FTTx and CATV, it's transparent to any rate, any service multiplexing and upgrade.

Higher Density Design to Meet Diversified Needs

The high-density FMU chassis supports flexible configurations with full capacity for 2 DWDM Mux Demux, CWDM Mux Demux or LWDM Mux Demux modules with different channels in FMU packages. This design meets diverse network requirements while ensuring reliable wavelength multiplexing in a space-optimized solution.

CWDM Point-to-point Access Networking Solution

CWDM is suitable for ISPs, carriers, enterprises and other scenarios. Through CWDM technology, multiple wavelengths are multiplexed on a single fiber to achieve high-speed, high-capacity data transmission between sites, significantly saving fiber resources and reducing deployment costs.
