IBM BNT 44W4408 Compatible 10GBASE-SR SFP+ Transceiver Module (MMF, 850nm, 300m, LC, DOM)

IBM BNT 44W4408 compatible SFP+ transceiver supports up to 400m link lengths over OM4 MMF (300m over OM3 MMF) via an LC duplex connector. This transceiver is compliant with SFF-8431, SFF-8432 and IEEE 802.3ae standards. Digital diagnostics monitoring is available via a 2-wire serial interface, as specified in SFF-8472. Featuring low power consumption, high speed, this 10G SFP+ transceiver is ideal for data center, enterprise wiring closet, service provider transport application, Radio & Baseband Unit, etc.

I needed these transceivers to connect an S3910 to S5860 switches. At first I was concerned because I plugged them into ports 23 and 24 and there was no connection. I didn't realize those ports are reserved and will not work for the connection. For the connection to work, you need to plug them into ports that are lower than port 20.
