The H3C compatible QSFP28 transceiver is a quad small form-factor pluggable module that provides 100GBase-BX throughput of up to 80 km over single-mode fiber (SMF), using 1310nm-TX/1270nm-RX nm-RX wavelengths via an LC connector. It is equipped with cooled 4×25Gb/s LAN-WDM NRZ (Non-Return-to-Zero) modulated EML lasers, making it suitable for deployment in legacy 100G switches and routers. The 100G BX80 transceiver complies with the QSFP28 MSA standard, supports RoHS-10 lead-free environmental regulations, and features digital diagnostic monitoring (DDM) over an I2C interface for real-time monitoring of key operating parameters.
100G BIDI are designed for high-density applications, enabling operators and service providers to conserve optical fiber resources. Please note that a bidirectional transceiver must be paired with another transceiver or network device operating at the complementary wavelength. They are widely used in 100G Ethernet, data centers, and storage area networks.
