The S5580-48S Ethernet switch offers high scalability, availability, and performance for midsize to large enterprise campus distribution and core deployments. Built on TD3-X7 chip, it provides wire-speed 10GbE and 100GbE (split into 4× 10/25G via breakout cables) ports in a compact 1U form factor, delivering 2.56 Tbps of Layer 2/3 connectivity to secure routers, servers, and switches. Supporting advanced features like MLAG and EVPN-VXLAN, it is also well-suited for enterprise data center top-of-rack (TOR) deployments.
The switch is managed by the AmpCon-Campus management platform, offering Day 0 to Day 2+ automated lifecycle management with Zero Touch Provisioning (ZTP), topology discovery, and real-time telemetry. AmpCon-Campus automates workflows, simplifies operations, and enhances visibility into the performance of connected devices.
