The S5860-48XMG is a next-gen L3 switch featuring Broadcom chips, with 1.32 Tbps switching capacity and 565 Mpps forwarding performance. It offers wire-speed 48x 1/2.5/5/10GBase-T, 4x 25Gb SFP28 and 2x 40Gb QSFP+ uplink, all in a 1U form factor, it includes redundant hot-swappable power supplies and smart fans for enhanced reliability.
Running PicOS® with a perpetual license, the switch supports MLAG, SSH, ACLs, OSPF, PBR, and sFlow without additional licensing and comes with five years of hardware and software support. Ideal for large campus network distributions, SMB cores, and low-density data center ToR deployments, the S5860-48XMG delivers enterprise-grade performance and flexibility.
The switch is managed by the AmpCon-Campus management platform, offering Day 0 to Day 2+ automated lifecycle management with Zero Touch Provisioning (ZTP), topology discovery, and real-time telemetry. AmpCon-Campus automates workflows, simplifies operations, and enhances visibility into the performance of connected devices.
