The Juniper Compatible 100GBASE-SR1.2 QSFP28 transceiver is a pluggable optical transceiver with a duplex LC connector interface for short-reach data communication and interconnect applications using Multi-Mode Fiber (MMF). It offers customers a compelling solution that enables reuse of their existing 10 Gb duplex MMF infrastructure for migration to 100 Gigabit Ethernet connectivity. This transceiver is compliant with the QSFP28 MSA and IEEE 802.3bm CAUI-4 electrical interface. Digital diagnostics functions are also available via an I2C interface, as specified by the QSFP28 MSA, to allow access to real-time operating parameters. It can also connect to a 400 Gbps SR4.2 BiDi in a 4x 100G-SR1.2 breakout mode.

Features
100G Connectivity for Data Center
The 100G SR1.2 BiDi can achieve 100G short-range transmission through duplex LC like 100G SWDM4 BiDi. But dual-wavelength SR1.2 BiDi will not interoperate with quad-band SWDM4 BiDi.
Leading Performance and Quality for 100G
With built-in Broadcom Chip and equipped with individually designed COB packaging, the QSFP28 transceiver offers high speed and low power in 100G links.
Seamless Upgrade from 10G to 100G Ethernet
100G SR1.2 offers data center operators a compelling solution that enables reuse of their existing 10G duplex MMF infrastructure for migration to 100G Ethernet connectivity.
