The QSFP-DD DCO transceiver provides 400GBASE-ZR throughput up to 120km using EDFA over single-mode fiber (SMF) via an LC/UPC connector. With compliance to OIF MSA standards and multi-vendor interoperability, the module allows interoperability and rapid deployment with other standard-compliant components. It can operate at temperatures between 0 and 70°C. Digital optical monitoring (DOM) support is also present to allow access to real-time operating parameters. Using C-FEC and 16QAM modulation, the module supports 400G tunable WDM transmission per wavelength, with up to 40km unamplified and 120km amplified reach. It is intended to be used in access, edge, core, and data center, supporting an open and interoperable networking ecosystem.
