The S5850-24B4C is a layer 3 switch with wire-speed 24x 10G/25G SFP28 and 4x 40G/100G QSFP28 (split to 4x 10G/25G) ports, delivering 2 Tbps switching capacity and 1488 Mpps forwarding rate. It features redundant hot-swappable power supplies, smart fans, and dual-flash chips for enhanced reliability and performance.
With support for MLAG, BGP EVPN VXLAN, PTP v2, MPLS, LACP, and more, the switch meets the scalability, security, and application demands of modern networks. It is ideal for next-generation core, aggregation, and data center environments, as well as medium to large campus deployments, offering the flexibility of enterprise top-of-rack and service provider environments with seamless migration from 10GbE to 25GbE or from 10GbE/40GbE uplinks to 100GbE.

The dual power supplies can be replaced without shutting down the system, and the variable-speed fans with front-to-back airflow automatically adjust fan speed to reduce power draw.
MLAG delivers device-level link redundancy and load balancing by aggregating links across two switches, enhancing network performance, reliability, and service continuity.
EVPN VXLAN provides a scalable solution for interconnecting campuses, data centers, and public clouds, simplifying Layer 2/3 deployments and enhancing network operations.
BC/TC/OC modes can be flexibly configured based on factors such as the scale of the network and the application scenario to meet the time accuracy requirements in different network environments.
MPLS enables small and medium-sized operators to create tunnels for their users, which helps build point-to-point connections and achieves intercommunication between user networks.
