MTP® Conversion Cable, MTP®-24 F UPC to 2 x MTP®-12 F UPC, 24F, OM4, OFNP, Type A

MTP® conversion cable is designed to provide a more flexible multi-fiber cabling system based on MTP® products. Unlike MTP® harness cable, MTP® conversion cables are terminated with MTP® connectors on both ends and can provide more possibilities for the existing 24-fiber cabling system.

The 40/100G MTP® conversion cables eliminate the wasted fibers in current 40G transmission and upcoming 100G transmission. Compared to purchase and install separate conversion cassettes, using MTP® conversion cables is a more cost-effective and lower-loss option.

Please note: The US Conec MTP® connectors are fully compliant with the MPO standards, achieving higher performance levels when compared to generic MPO connectors.

First time ordering MTP conversion harness cables from fs.com. We plan to use MTP cables for a particle physics experiment that needs 1000 fibers over 60m with fan-out parts. We will control and read out via fiber optics. At first, I placed an order on my own. Soon they sent me an email to check the information to make sure everything is OK. After confirming my concrete application for their technician, I took their advice and ordered another customized version—3 MTP-8 to MTP-24, planning to take the 24 strands from our MDF and separate them to IDFs. The package arrived very quickly, which was quite stiff enough to protect these cables inside. Also I required a test report for these products and they come along with the products. These values prove their high quality, which I also appreciate a lot. It has been nearly two weeks since I put them into use, nothing went wrong. Overall, I am happy with this purchase.
