The cooling systems in S5860-20SQ switch, each consists of two fan modules, provide front-to-back (air exhausts through the back of the switch) airflow depending on the fan modules and power supplies installed in the switch.
Fan modules for S5860-20SQ switch are hot-insertable and hot-removable field-replaceable units, you can remove and replace the module without interrupting normal switch operation.
The 1+1 hot-swappable fan modules allow the users to install it without powering off the switch or disrupting the switching function.
