OPB-I, 1+1 Optical Protection Switch for NX N40 Managed Chassis

NX N40 Series OPB-I provides two independent 1+1 protection groups for optical signals, supports setting protection switching recovery mode, switching threshold, waiting recovery time, switching control commands through EMS, and wavelength and channel protection, etc. In optical line protection, input detection of OTDR signals is supported.


NX N40 Series provides high-speed and flexible solutions, which offers high density and high capacity benefits in a modular package. It supports unified management of its optical-layer and electrical-layer boards based on SDN, which allows integrated configuration, multi-rate hybrid transmission, efficient operation and maintenance, thus it can be utilized in large-capacity transmission in all scenarios.
