I have been paying for cloud service for a couple years now which gets really expensive at 7.99/month for each off my 2 cameras. This NVR works better than the cloud service I was using and I can keep my recordings for longer. It has a 4 TB pre-installed HDD installed and it has worked perfectly for nearly two months. Only tricky part for me was running the ethernet cables for connectivity and camera lines but that isn't the NVR's fault just the placement of my cameras. In summary if you plan on keeping multiple cameras for an extended period of time I would definitely suggest this NVR.

Recording history is only limited by you hard drive space! This goes up to 10TB for each HDD , so for 4k videos at H265 compression , you get plenty of recording time. Besides, its response time is very speedy, only takes just a few seconds to pull up footage, which really surprised me.
