The quality of the pictures and night vision are good. Motion detection is also very good, and reliably helped me monitor the occurrence of some abnormal situations. This camera has a very powerful night vision capability. The motion detection effect is very good, and sometimes it can even be sensitive to small motions. I use it with a microSD card and there is no problem viewing the video. Its pixels are said to be 2880p, in fact I think it is clearer and sharper than 2880p video.
