My first impression of the Z-lock cords is very positive. A few observations below
The PDU end of the cable is terrific. The cords work really well with our APC PDU’s. The APC locking cables can be challenging because the cord is oriented vertically and sometimes covers up the receptacle below. On the Z-lock cable the cord is horizontally oriented so the problem with blocking receptacles is not there and I find that to be a really attractive feature.
On the device side of the cable it is a little challenging because the locking mechanism seems to be blocked by power supply removal tabs. This is not a show stopper and probably not something that is easy to address.
Quality of the cables is very good and the lengths and colors are great for keeping cable. Management as neat as possible.
