Juniper Networks QDD-4X100G-FR Compatible 400GBASE-XDR4 QSFP-DD PAM4 Optical Transceiver Module (SMF, 1310nm, 2km, MTP/MPO, DOM)

The 400GBASE-XDR4 Module supports link lengths of up to 2km parallel SMF with MTP/MPO-12 connector. It is compliant to IEEE 802.3bs protocol and 400GAUI-8 standards. The 400 Gigabit Ethernet signal is carried over four parallel lanes by one wavelength per lane. It can be used as 4x100G breakout to QSFP-FR-100G.


Note: The FS P/N is changed from QSFPDD-XDR4-400G to QDD-XDR4-400G, but the product is the same. Only the FS P/N has been changed.

These are brilliant. I chose FS due to the higher rating of the manufacturer. I am using them for a 400G-400G direct connection between two buildings. So far, they have performed as hoped. These 400G modules are good choices. Such high-speed optical components using PAM4 modulation can be really perfect. I have to say, the whole data transfer is running beyond our expectations. There is nothing wrong with them.
