De Cisco QSFP-100G-AOC1M Compatibele QSFP28 Actieve Optische Kabels zijn vezelassemblages met QSFP28-connectoren, ontworpen voor directe verbindingen via Multi-Mode Fiber (MMF). Deze AOC's voldoen aan de hot-pluggable QSFP28 MSA- en RoHS-6-normen, wat compatibiliteit en naleving van milieuregels garandeert. Door een kostenefficiënt alternatief te bieden voor afzonderlijke optische transceivers en patchkabels, zijn deze AOC's ideaal voor het realiseren van 100Gbps-verbindingen binnen racks en tussen aangrenzende racks. Actieve optische kabels bieden een lichtgewicht en slank alternatief voor koperen kabels, waardoor kabelbeheer eenvoudiger wordt.
