Het metalen behuizingsontwerp verbetert de warmteafvoer, duurzaamheid en elektromagnetische compatibiliteit, waardoor betrouwbare werking in zware omgevingen mogelijk is. Koeling door natuurlijke luchtconvectie, NDR-240-48 kan werken bij omgevingstemperaturen van -20°C tot 70°C. NDR-240-48 levert tot 240 W (48V, 5A) vermogen aan industriële PoE-apparatuur zoals switches, IP-camera's, AP en mediaconverters. Het kan breed worden ingezet in zware omgevingen zoals industriële besturingssystemen, halfgeleiderfabricageapparatuur, fabrieksautomatisering en elektromechanica.
