July 12th, Shenzhen, FS.COM News – The 96 fibers 1U and 160 fibers 2U ultra density patch panels have recently arrived at FS.COM.

In 40G and 100G Ethernet network, cable management plays an essential role since bad cable management will influence the work efficiency and network performance. Then the needs for high density components are intensive. Ultra density patch panels designed for space saving and better cable management are attracting more and more data centers.

FS.COM has introduced two new types of ultra density patch panels: 96 fibers 12x MTP-8 to LC/UPC single-mode 1U ultra density 40Gb QSFP+ breakout patch panel and 160 fibers 8x MTP-20 to LC/UPC 10G OM4 2U ultra density 100GB QSFP+ breakout patch panel. The following are the details of these two patch panels.

The 96-fiber patch panel is to connect 12x40G QSFP+ ports with MTP fiber cables to the back of the panel and then this breaks out as 48x10GE on the front with LC fiber cables. It logically groups the ports in 4 duplex LC ports. While the 160-fiber patch panel is to connect 8x100GBASE-SR10 ports with MTP fiber cables to the back of the panel and then this breaks out as 80x10GE on the front with LC fiber cables. This one groups the ports in 10 duplex LC ports. Both can provide high fiber count distribution in a small form assembly, the fastest bandwidth and better connectivity in less rack space. And they are available for single-mode or multimode applications.
