FS-AP3000C, punto de acceso inalámbrico 802.11ac Wave 2, 3000 Mbps, 4x4 MU-MIMO, Tri-Band (adaptador de corriente incluido)
How many devices can be connected to this access point？
Por K***a en 25 de en. de 2022
I have 17+ devices ranging from FireTV 11ac radios to 11n connected IoT devices. My device count includes 4 laptops & many iOS devices as well. Never had any problems with collisions or capacity throughout a 1000 sq ft house. the ultimate capacity will be more gated by throughout & coverage.

Can this be used in conjunction with an existing FS AP-W6D1775C to increase signal strength in a two-story home?
Por A***n en 21 de en. de 2022
Sure. WiFi 6 supports WiFi 5 compatible APS. I\'m using one installed in the center of the house, along the ceiling of my basement. I have more than two wireless access points, and my works are beautiful.

How do you setup 5ghz for this AP? i setup but it does not show where to select either 2.4 or 5ghz. thanks
Por V***a en 17 de en. de 2022
This is auto select. Only need to setup one wifi network and your device will auto select the best one to send. Generally speaking, 5ghz is only good in open spaces and no walls. 2.4 is better to go through walls and longer distance.

Is placement a concern? Or can it go through many walls?
Por V***a en 15 de en. de 2022
It is easy to install. I suggest you install it on the ceiling, so the effect will be better. It can go through walls, but the signal gets a bit weaker with each wall it goes through. The range on this is very good, I bought three in my home it is on the center of my first floor, the basement, first, and second floor are covered.

Would one of these be able to handle 3+ wifi cameras, a couple set top boxes a few game systems and 6 or so phones and tablets?
Por R***s en 10 de en. de 2022
Technically, yes, it can handle far more clients than that,While that's plenty for the cams, phones and tablets, if you start adding HD streaming and gaming to the mix, I wouldn't count on super-fast refresh rates or low latency. If you're serious about trying to do this, I would suggest add more APs, as it's can improve the quality of the network within a certain range and increase the rate. You've also got (2) 1 Gbps LAN connection, which gives you a better chance of getting acceptable performance for the STBs and game systems.

If i purchase 2 will they hand off and connection like cell tower to each other to the person attached via wifi? i assume they will use the same ssid?
Por M***d en 07 de en. de 2022
Yes and from my personal experience it works great. If you want to set the same SSID, just bring the AP online in the same group of AC to configure a unified SSID name and password.

Any reason why my 2.4ghz only exceed 60mbps? My 5ghz is fine.
Por B***n en 03 de en. de 2022
It depends a lot on where your access point is relative to your computer, and what is between them. Also you might get interference from microwave ovens and other access points in the area. Have you tried a different set of default channels?

If I mount this on a basement ceiling, will I get good coverage on the floor above as well as the basement itself?
Por J***y en 31 de dic. de 2021
Possibly, but a better way to mount it would be to mount it high on a basement wall facing towards the upstairs areas where you want coverage.

What is the advantage of this system ?
Por T***y en 24 de dic. de 2021
The advantage of this system is that it makes the wireless internet signal stronger and more widespread throughout your house/property. Before I got this, watching Netflix or any other internet streaming videos in my TV room was problematic, as the signal was weak and it kept buffering/dropping. Since I installed the Access Point, we no longer have this problem.

Can this one for commercial use..?
Por R***o en 15 de dic. de 2021
Definitely. These are built for business. The ad advertises it as suitable for SMBs and business scenarios, it does work well; it's Tri-band and the recommended number of users is 30-40, more than enough for a corporate office serving 15 employees.
