Will the 10gb sfp auto negotiate down to 1gb if the sfp at the other side is only 1gb?

No, it won’t. This is 10Gb/s SFP+ transceiver module, so it can’t auto negotiate down to 1Gb, but only run at 10Gb. Por FS.com en 25 de jun. de 2023
