I have a C/WDM equipment demand but not familiar with their functions, so I consulited with my account manager and was advised this 8 Channels CWDM Mux Demux. Now the project done and all works well.

Ultra low link loss and expanded operating temperature can really help with my various WDM projects.

We had been doing lots of research on FS products, and wondered whether the 18 channels CWDM mux could fit our transmission less than 2km. We contacted the AM. The guy first asked our networking environment and optical loss requirement. Then he assured us that the mux could fit our demands, and recommended the 40km 10G CWDM modules and related fiber optic attenuators. Thus, our RX power of the transceiver can be limited in the range of -8~-13dbm.
We quickly got our items from UPS. They were protected in solid packages. Just installed the ears on the two sides of the mux, we could easily put it on our network rack. We have run it for a time, no bad or missed connections.

We planned to deploy a cwdm system over 2 sites with a total distance of about 10km. Dark fiber had been used in the original network. Besides, there is a computer center in the middle of the 2 sites needed to insert a drop out/in. We were not sure about the devices that we needed to add in such a network. Then we consulted FS technical team.

They not only provided us an integrated CWDM solution based on our current network, but also explained their solution in detail. That was very professional and convincing and we bought all the products in their solution directly. This 8ch cwdm mux they suggested to us with a very low insertion loss is really recommendable and makes the whole transmission much better than we had expected.

I like color coding of the MUX. I have to say it is a user-friendly design to fastly ensure corresponding transceivers.
