Can this 10/100/1000BASE-T transceiver work in the 1000BASE port of my device which supports SerDes interface? How can it be compatible with 100M RJ-45 port?
Yes, this SFP SGMII transceiver can work on the device, but please note that it can only work at 1000BASE rate, can not negotiate backward at 10/100m rate.
