You can register an account on the fs.com or fsbox.com website.If your company has already purchased our FS BOX and optical transceivers, you will get a formal account after registration.If you have purchased only one or neither of them, you will get a trial account after registration. 2. How to upgrade your trial account to a formal account? If you purchase both an FS BOX and an optical transceiver during the trial period, your account will automatically be upgraded to a formal account. If the trial period has expired, please contact your account manager and provide your purchase history to request an account upgrade. 3. What should you do if your account is abnormal? There is no difference between the two in terms of permissions; trial accounts have access to the same services as formal accounts. We will have a 24-hour buffer time after you purchase and sign for these two types of goods. Your account will be automatically converted to a formal account after 24 hours. Online Configuration only allows you to modify compatible brands and SN. If you need it urgently, you can contact your account manager. 2. Which tunable transceivers does FS BOX support? DWDM-SFP10G-C、DWDM-XFP10G-C、DW-SFP10G-40-C、DW-10GSFP-40-C-I、DW-SFP10G-80-C、DW-10GSFP-80-C-I、QSFP-ZR-100G、QSFP-ZR-100G-S. 3. What if you can’t find the compatible brand you need in the Online Configuration section? You can customize the compatible brand code you need in the BOX Pro section. After the engineering team reviews and approves it, you can upload it to your account. The uploaded codes will be displayed below. Click “Configuration” to start the configuration process. image.png 4. Why does “Sorry, no files available” appear when using the Online Configuration service? This issue may be caused by one of the following reasons: The network connection is unstable, preventing files from being loaded properly. Please ensure your network is stable. The required attributes (such as transmission distance or cable length) have not been selected before choosing a compatible brand. The selected transceiver does not currently support the chosen compatible brand. This is normal in some cases. 5. Can FS BOX be used to configure optical transceivers from third-party manufacturers? No. FS BOX only works with FS optical transceivers and DAC/AOC cables. 6. Which optical transceivers are not supported by FS BOX? Due to hardware limitations, the following products are not supported for reconfiguration with FS BOX: HPE-compatible SFP+/SFP28/XFP/QSFP+/QSFP28 transceivers, all 40G BiDi transceivers, GPON transceivers, and 25G SFP28 Loopback Modules. Attempting to configure these products may cause irreversible damage to the transceivers. 7. Why are you unable to use BOX Pro? BOX Pro is available only to users who have purchased FS optical transceivers. If your company has not placed any relevant orders, your order list will appear blank, and BOX Pro will not be accessible. For instructions on how to use BOX Pro, please refer to the related documentation or instructional video. 8. Why do the S/N or P/N values change after configuration? This depends on the compatible brand you select. To ensure compatibility with certain switch vendors (such as Cisco), the transceiver’s part number (P/N) and serial number (S/N) must meet specific requirements. 23 set. 2025 - FS BOX V4 Web Configuration Guide Login Operation Step 1: Go to fsbox.com. Step 2: Log in with your FS account. image.png Step 3: Download and install the driver. image.png Step 4: Select 'Configuration', then you can use FS-BOX-V4 on the web side to perform the operations you want normally. image.png image.png You can download the driver on the home page or after signing in. image.png If you don't have an account, click Create an account to create one. image.png It is recommended to activate your service in Google Chrome (68 version and later) 1.1 Install MacOS Driver Step 1: After downloading the driver, double-click the driver file FS Install_ Mac.dmg. Step 2: Long click the FS Box and drag to the Application folder. image.png Step 3: Find the FS Box application on the Launchpad, then double-click it and a system pop-up prompt will appear, click Open. Step 4: Status displays in green means that the driver is successfully installed and activated normally. image.png 1.2 Install Windows driver Step 1: After downloading the driver, double-click the driver file FSInstaller for installation. Step 2: FS service will be automatically activated when the driver is installed, and you can check the FS logo image.png in the notification bar. After successful insertion, the status indicator will change from breathing white to always white. image.png Step 2: Choose the compatible brand and click Start Configuration. image.png image.png Some special brands or special transceiver types do not support revise serial number in Online Configuration, and the Yes and No buttons can not be clicked. In this case, you need to apply in Box Pro. image.png If you need to reconfigure multiple transceivers to same compatible brand, you can turn on the Batch Configuration button, then follow the prompts to insert and remove the transceivers one by one. And if you want to stop batch configuration, turn off the button after configuration succeeds. Step 3: Configuration succeeds, then pull out the transceiver. image.png Wavelength Tuning If you need to configure channels for tunable transceivers, please operate as follow. Step 1: Connect FS Box to your computer and insert your tunable transceiver into the corresponding port of FS Box. The platform can quickly identify it. Then choose the P/N of the transceiver, and click the edit icon under the wavelength. image.png Step 2: Choose the wavelength and click Apply. image.png Step 3: You can check the updated wavelength and status after configuration succeeds. image.png Diagnosing Configuration Service If you need to solve compatibility issues with your problematic optics after the sale, please operate as follow. image.png Step 1: Connect FS Box to your computer and insert an identical transceiver that works well into the corresponding port of FS Box. image.png Step 2: Choose the compatible brand of the identical transceiver, and fill in the device model number which the transceiver will be used, then click Start Diagnosing. image.png Step 3: Remove the identical transceiver and insert your problematic FS transceiver after diagnosing succeeds. image.png image.png Step 4: Click Start Matching after the transceiver is replaced. image.png Step 5: Matching succeeds, then pull out the transceiver. image.png Box Pro Service If you need to reconfigure part number of your optics or need to custom compatibility, please operate as follow. image.png 5.1 Application Steps Step 1: Enter Box Pro service and click Request Configuration. image.png Step 2: Locate the order in which the optics you need to reconfigure. Then choose the optics and click Apply. image.png Step 3: Fill the configuration details you need to custom and click Submit. image.png You will receive the auditing result of your application in 1 to 3 business days. image.png image.png If you need more than one configuration brand for your optics, you could add more but less than three at a time. Step 4: Check application status and configuration details in My Applications. image.png 5.2 Configuration Steps Step 1: Connect FS Box to your computer and insert corresponding transceiver into corresponding port. Step 2: Locate the application which is approved and click Configuration. image.png Step 3: After configuration succeeds, you can check the updated information in the reading column. Then pull out the transceiver. 5.3 Batch Configuration Steps a. If you need to configure the same type configurations in large amounts, please operate as follow. Step 1: Connect FS Box to your computer and insert corresponding transceiver into corresponding port. Step 2: Select the application which is approved and click Batch Configuration. image.png image.png If you want to stop the batch configuration, just click Stop Batch Configuration after configuration succeeds. b. If you need to configure multiple types of configurations, please operate as follow. Step 1: Connect FS Box to your computer and insert corresponding transceiver into corresponding port. Step 2: Select the applications which are approved and click Batch Configuration. image.png Step 3: Click Start Configuration, and the system will continue to configure according to the selected order. You just need to insert and remove your transceivers. image.png DDM Information Connect FS Box and insert your transceiver, and then you can click “DDM Information” in the top right corner of the page to check the status of the transceiver, and open the Testing button. It will show voltage, temperature and bias-current values in combination with time based continuous chart for transmit level and receive level (the transceiver needs to be connected with the cable to test receiver level). You can click the download icon to download the testing data. image.png

A. If you have not operated your FS Box through the App before, try to find the new FS Box in the available devices, click the FS Box and connect. 图片3.png B. If you have operated your FS Box through the App before, try to find the online FS Box in Device List, and match. Or if the FS Box in the device list is not in your Bluetooth range, click Add device, and switch to Available Device to scan other new FS Box. 图片4.png Step 4: When FS Box is connected, you will find the real-time battery power and Bluetooth strength on the homepage. 图片5.png Online Configuration Service If you only need to reconfigure the compatibility of optics, enter this section. Step 1: Insert your transceiver into corresponding port of FS Box. If reading succeeds, the status indicator will change from breathing white to always white. Step 2: Choose the compatible brand and click Start Configuration (If you are not able to find your aimed compatible brands, please move on Account→Apply FS Box Configuration→My Orders to apply for the special configuration). Step 2: Choose the compatible brand of the available transceiver, and fill in the device model number which the transceiver will be used, then click Start Diagnosing. Step 3: Remove the available transceiver and insert your problematic FS transceiver after diagnosing success. Step 4: Click Start Matching after the transceiver is replaced. Step 5: Matching succeeds, then pull out the transceiver. 图片7.png Apply FS Box Configurations If you plan to modify compatibility of FS Transceivers & DAC/AOC Cables beyond the compatible brands online, or need to modify the serial number, model number, and vendor name, you can apply for a custom configuration here . After the configuration application is approved, you can enter Box PRO to make custom configuration changes. Step 1: Login to FS.COM APP. Step 2: Enter Account→Apply FS Box Configuration→My Orders. Step 3: Select the order you plan to customize the configuration for and click on the Apply. Step 4: Click the Add, fill in the detailed custom configuration information, then submit. PS: If an order requires multiple types of configurations, you can add up to 3 configurations at the same time. Single configuration Step 1: Search for the configuration to be configured according to the application number or order number. Step 2: Click on an application to view the application details. Select a configuration to view the configuration details. Step 3: Insert the transceiver in the corresponding port of Box and click on the Configuration button to configure. Step 4: After the configuration is configured successfully, view the updated transceiver information and pull out the transceiver. Batch configuring with multiple configurations Provide an option to batch configuration. Step 1: Insert the transceiver in the corresponding port of FS Box. Step 2: Check multiple configurations and click Batch Configuration. Step 3: Click on Start Batch Configuration, the APP will be configured in order according to the selected configuration list. Once it is approved, you can simply search for your order number in the After Sales section to find the corresponding configuration and matching. Step 1: Choose an After Sales configuration. Step 2: Insert the transceiver in the corresponding port of the Box and select configuration.
