Hello, I need to verify the cabling solution for client connectivity on each end of a DWDM point-to-point link. Side A and Side B are mirrors of each other in that the client facing optic will be a Cisco 16x4 QSFP+ (ONS-QC-16GFC-SW=). The polarity of this optic is the same as a 40G QSFP+ to my understanding, so I was looking at the following solution: *Side A* -- QSFP+ -> MPO-12 Type B Fem/Fem Trunk -> MTP-8 to LC Universal -> A-to-B LC-LC Patch Cord -> Client I would like to avoid having to use any A-to-A patch cords on Side-B, so in order to flip the polarity of the Duplex pairs could I use a Type-A Trunk cable between the QSFP and the Cassette on Side B to accomplish that? *Side B* -- QSFP+ -> MPO-12 Type A Fem/Fem Trunk -> MTP-8 to LC Universal -> A-to-B LC-LC Patch Cord -> Thank you.

According to your meaning, the applications at both ends of A and B are the same, and the B end does not need to flip the thread sequence. The recommended products are as follows: MTP-12 Type B Female/Female Trunk #68017, MTP-8 to LC universal cassette #68402, A-to-B LC-LC Patch Cord #40180.
