Easy to mount connector, which works very well. Don't forget to clean the fiber properly with alcohol, this is not very clear in the instruction.

Easy to use once I tried with a couple. Managed to snap the fiber when bending it to lock it in place.

Bought this pre-polished ferrule quick field assembly connector for our single-mode fibers. Not succeed in the first installation and got it after a slight adjustment. Quite handy! This product is useful for those who are interested in building a small fiber network without having a fusion splicer. Recommended!

I was looking for pre-polished & field-installable connectors and found them from FS. The installation procedure was illustrated elaborately from the pictures on the website, which helped me a lot. Using this LC fast connector saved my installation time indeed.

1. The boot is not holding strong enough to the assembly, easily slides off when disconnecting the cable. If this happens, the fibre is at risk to be pulled off too.

2. Using a visual fault locator is essential while ing the fibre so that the intensity at the other and can be monitored. The issue is fiber easily goes beyond the point of the maximum intensity. The Keep fibre bending instruction is not sufficient to find the mating point.

3. The third issue is the is no soft strain relief boot.

The installation of FS quick connector is simple and easy to learn, it only takes 1-2 minutes from stripping, cleaning, cutting, aligning to crimping of the cable.

These quick connectors remove any requirement for epoxy, adhesive or costly curing ovens, which is fully meet my working environment where fire sources are prohibited
