This conversion module is usually used in conjunction with 10G transceivers, such as 10G SFP+LR, etc. In addition, it can also be used in conjunction with 1G motransceivers (GLC-T, etc.).
The prerequisite for using this module is that the device needs to support splitting (40G to 4x10G). After the switch port is split, the CVR conversion module can be interconnected with the built-in 10G transceiver and the peer 10G transceiver.
