S5800-48F4SR is a high-performance Layer 3 Ethernet switch with 48x 1000M SFP and 4x 10Gb SFP+ ports in a compact 1U form factor. The FSOS delivers robust feature support, such as the leading-edge data centre features: Priority Flow Control (PFC), Explicit Congestion Notification (ECN), and data centre TCP, etc. It also supports MLAG function, which improves the reliability of the network links from single board grade to device grade.
Built from the ground up with the combination of advanced hardware and software, the switch provides a powerful Layer 3 routing solution for next-generation enterprise, data centre, Metro, and HCI (Hyper Converged Infrastructure) networks.

The dual power supplies can be replaced without shutting down the system, and the variable-speed fans with front-to-back airflow automatically adjust fan speed to reduce power draw.
MPLS enables small and medium-sized operators to create tunnels for their users, which helps build point-to-point connections and achieves intercommunication between user networks.
VXLAN-BGP-EVPN automatically discovers and establishes tunnels, enabling unrestricted and seamless migration of data centre virtual machines with no user perception.
PTP TC enables switches to effectively calculate transmission delay and perform time compensation when forwarding messages, thus reducing time errors and improving synchronisation accuracy.
