Cat7a network cable supports 10GBase-T transmission rates over 100 metres and 25GBase-T over 30 metres. It has a higher bandwidth of up to 1500MHz and is fully backward compatible with all previous categories. This cable is relatively stiff compared to previous generations of cables, making it very suitable for data centres, server rooms, and telecom rooms.
