Ethernet Cable Fluke Test

Ethernet Cable Fluke Test

FS Official Jun 14, 2018

Is the Ethernet cable you bought qualified? Ethernet network cables from different vendors are similar in appearance. However, you can’t tell if the cable is of good quality or even of industry standard simply from its appearance without specialized testing. Therefore, a Fluke test is necessary to testify its quality.

This video shows you the whole process of a Cat6 patch cable from FS with Fluke test. This is a 28AWG slim Cat6 patch cable tested by Fluke network cable analyzer. The Fluke test result can be read on the cable analyzer directly or exported on the computer. You can know all the basic information (length, prop. delay, resistance, etc.) of the cable, which are clearly recorded in the report.

The most direct and convenient way of knowing the quality of this Cat6 patch cable is to see “Test Summary” of the report. As you can see, it passes the Fluke test, which means the Cat6 cable tested has better transmission with certified quality.

In addition to Cat6 patch cables, actually, all other Ethernet cables such as Cat5e patch cable, Cat7 patch cable, etc. provided in FS are fully tested and have passed Fluke cable test. You can find the Fluke test result on our website from product details. FS Ethernet network cables not only own perfect size for space-saving and more flexible copper cabling, but also deliver high performance signals with solid structure and excellent quality.
