We wanted a higher speed network system and needed to choose some transceivers, we didn't need a long transmission distance, so this type was just right for us. They proved to have excellent connectivity, and all metrics were within normal limits.

I found some information about 800G on Google, then found the FS. Though I had bought products at FS for many times, I didn't know they begin to supply 800G products. Emm, I decided to give a try for this module for our switches and placed the order.

I have inquired several vendors about the 800G QSFP-DD optical modules, but their product delivery time is too long to satisfy our test project requirements. Finally, I placed the order in FS, and thanks to their fast shipping, I got the modules quickly.

I finally got these new optics, and can't wait to have an interoperation test between 800G to 100G, works as expected. My AM told me that the power consumption<16.5w, lower than the standard, which also one of the reasons that I choose these optics. It will save energy for the long term, and the lower power will reduce the heat, keep the rack safe.

Signal loss is quite low. The whole system is pretty stable overall. We haven't found any problems so far.

Bought one pair for testing on switches. They matched well and everything went great. Would consider buying more here over time.
