Regarding the 2 * 500m, I will never be taking the 500m of fibre cables off their drums. The reason I am purchasing them is for use during a training course using an OTDR and I want to use them on a reasonable length. This is why I must be able to access both ends whilst it is on the spool. I assume that this is possible?

A:

It is possible to leave part of the cable on the reel during use. Do not bend and coil excessively as this will increase insertion loss.
