DWDM technology can multiplex different wavelengths into one fibre, adding great capacity of bandwidth for long haul backbone data centre. It has grown as one of the dominant technology used in various WDM network applications. However, the insertion loss of fibre interfaces on passive DWDM Mux/Demux affects the whole link transmission performance. In the market, there are 40CH DWDM Mux with typical insertion loss of 4.5dB, 5dB, or 6.3dB. Higher insertion loss means more investment in DWDM network deployment. FS strives to expand the network capacity with DWDM Mux/Demux, while lowering the whole cost at the same time.

FS provides two high-capacity 40CH DWDM Mux/Demux, perfect for long haul DWDM transmission. Adopting high-quality AAWG Gaussian technology, the 40CH DWDM Mux/Demux boasts low insertion loss (3.5dB typical), and high reliability. With the upgraded structure, these passive DWDM multiplexers and demultiplexers can offer easier installation. Designed with the special function ports like monitor port, 1310nm port, and expansion port, the 40CH DWDM Mux/Demux can not only expand capacity of existing optical backbones, but also save cost in DWDM network design.
