DWDM Multiservice Transport System Solution

DWDM multiservice transport system is typically used for long-haul and metro networks due to its high capacity of channels and ability to transmit signals over a long distance.

To build a long haul DWDM network in a compact and simple way, FS has provided high density FMU series DWDM MUX/DEMUX with low insertion loss to support long-haul transmission.There are also multi-service transport platform products like OEO, EDFA, DCM (Dispersion Compensation Module) and OLP (Optical Line Protection) which are designed into small plug-in cards for centralized deployment and management for WDM solution. A free software is provided for easier management and monitoring in point-to-point DWDM optical transport system. All these devices contribute to a higher networking performance, better management, lower power consumption, and centralized network management.

In this video, the rack unit chassis is available in 1U, 2U and 4U and is pre-loaded with a replaceable NUM card for centralized management and a replaceable fan card for cooling, and the 4 blank panels can be replaced by DWDM extension line cards which possess user-friendly slides.

FS also provides CWDM MUX/DEMUX that can seamlessly connect with OEO and OADM to achieve maximum flexibility, scalability, and manageability in point-to-point or ring WDM network.
