Background

With the ever-growing business demands, enterprises are always facing the problems of aging devices, non-scalable networks and insufficient bandwidth for both wired and wireless networks. A customer that comes from Sydney has been at the forefront of innovative solutions in the dynamic IT industry. They expected to construct a telecommunication cabling network system that links their six buildings sparsely located in different places. This complete cabling system should essentially consist of a backbone network and branching networks. This customer sought to achieve well-organized, highly-reliable fiber cabling connectivity for their six zones - typically from zone 6 to zone 1-5 respectively. And they require a higher speed connectivity solution that can meet the expansion demands in the future.SolutionBecause of great volume data transmission in hospital and cost, FS provides the corresponding solution: deploy OS2 GYFTY53 outdoor waterproof armored cable that meets the IEC 60794-1-2 standard for the main trunks from zone 6 to zone 1-5. Cable length required is customized based on the distance between different zones, and the 1000m length is left in each line for future use. From zone 6 to zone 1-5, 120 fibers totally are deployed, and the ports left allow for adding another 72 fibers for future use. The access ports of each area adopt FS FHD high-rating waterproof splice tray. Video for FHD fiber splice tray.

Conclusion

An upgraded network can bring the improvement of business productivity and efficiency for companies of all sizes, which also results in reduced operational cost. FS assists the customer to optimize plans and offers a cost-effective and higher speed fiber optical solution for the Angau hospital redevelopment project. The fiber optic network can convey a clear signal much farther and better meet future communications systems.
