The display shows "CHARGE" when batteries are inserted and the 5V DC-in is connected to a power source. Does the device work with rechargeable NiMH AA batteries? Will it charge them when DC-in is connected to a power source?

Yes, you can use the rechargeable NiMH AA batteries on it with DC-IN 5V be inserted in. At the same time, the power meter can work and the batteries can be charged. But if the batteries you used is non-chargeable when with DC-IN 5V inserted in, it will damage the power circuits in the power meter. Kindly note this. by B***g on 15/09/2023
