  • Store-and-Forward and Cut-Through are both switches' forwarding modes, but they have different preferences: 1. Store and forward will store and check the data frame before forwarding. So it will be have higher delay and lower speed. 2. Cut Through will forward data fraome as soon as receiving the header of data frame. So it is faster without check round.By J***e on 02/24/2020
