Does this type of cable recommend the following? : 1) a shielded connector 2) shielded patch cables on both ends Can one get away with UTP connectors and/or UTP cables? What are the implications in doing so?

  • 1) The #58727 has a solid structure. Customer usually choose Cat6a RJ45 (8P8C) Shielded Toolless Keystone Jack #72285 to match. If you need Cat6a Shielded connector, we can offer it offline at present. Please contact your sale representative.
    2) When shielded patch cable get away with UTP connectors and/or UTP cables,it will influence the transmission rate and fail to prevent interference with external electromagnetic waves, we suggest shielded patch cable get away with shielded connectors.
