DownloadDeliver seamless TypeB MTP® connectivity for 40G network upgrade, while integrating legacy 10G network, making cabling management efficient.
US CONEC MTP® connectors and Corning fibers are used in MTP® cables that achieve low insertion loss and high transmission performance, thereby enhancing the stability of the entire system.
Professional technical personnel design network architecture to arrange network equipment according to best practices, ensuring proper ventilation and heat dissipation.
Enabled simultaneous data transmission with 72 fibers (MTP®-12) within a confined cabinet space.
Using MTP®-12 multimode fiber cables with a bend radius ≤ 7.5mm allows for tighter cable bends, making it convenient to cable in confined spaces.
Efficient technical support, solution design, and product confirmation ensured the rapid installation of the cabling system.
A client in the advertising, film, and entertainment industry requires a high-speed network for seamless collaboration, fast file transfers, and smooth streaming delivery. The existing network infrastructure no longer meets the current business requirements, prompting the need to upgrade the enterprise network infrastructure. This architecture encompasses racks, patch panels, server racks, and other equipment, prompting the company to seek a high-capacity, correctly polarized, and future-expandable 40G MTP® cabling system. Their primary goals include swift cable deployment, enhanced cable management efficiency, and facilitating network upgrades.
In a space-constrained data center, establishing new 40G connections while integrating with existing 10G connections, with a focus on preventing tangling and confusion.
Ensuring the correct polarity is crucial for future upgrades or expansions as incorrect polarity can hinder the integration of new equipment or technologies into the existing infrastructure. With MTP® fiber cables, MTP® fiber patch panels, and MTP® cassettes each having their polarity settings, ensuring correct polarity across the entire cabling system poses a significant challenge.
Deploying multiple links requires careful planning and adherence to industry standards. The company benefits from a professional technical team that considers compatibility, cost, and future scalability of the entire cabling system right from the design phase. 40G to 40G connections are achieved by connecting 12x MTP®-12 trunk cables to MTP® UP to Down fiber panels. Within the distribution frame, these 40G links are broken out into four 10G links using MTP®-LC fiber cassettes, then connected to 10G server racks via LC-LC cables, seamlessly integrating with the existing infrastructure. This cabling solution meets the demands of high-density connections, quick installation, scalability, and high performance in network architecture.
The entire cabling system needs to maintain the correct polarity to ensure the effective transmission of signals. In a 40G-10G link, a Type A MTP® trunk fiber cable is used to connect the 40G Network Bay to the MTP®-LC cassettes and it doesn’t change the Type B polarity of the whole link. Using Type B MTP® trunk cables, the polarity remains consistent while extending the link distance. For 40G to 40G connections, utilizing Type B MTP® trunk cables maintains consistent polarity while extending the link. These clever polarity configurations, benefiting from professional technical support, ensure a stable and reliable network and provide convenience for future upgrades or expansions.
Color coding is advantageous in addressing confusion and mix-ups among cables, connectors, and devices. All products in this solution adhere to industry-standard color coding, making wiring more organized and easier to manage. This color coding scheme not only simplifies the installation of new and old equipment but also offers compatibility when using products from other brands.
Our partner has successfully achieved seamless network collaboration and smooth delivery of streaming media, while also seamlessly transitioning between 40G and legacy 10G cabling, improving cable deployment and management efficiency.
The new cabling system features higher speeds and more stable network connections, along with flexible design and excellent scalability to adapt to evolving network demands.
The professional solution team offers comprehensive services from project initiation to network deployment. Timely issue resolution is provided via remote meetings to ensure all network equipment functions properly.
